New Name, New Look, New Feel

As you know, we have just launched the new Intuit Community website. And now, we are in the process of rebranding and renaming this blog to the Intuit Community Blog. It will take us a day or two to fix the urls/domain name, but in the meantime, keep coming back and visiting us. The Gurus and me will continue to provide tips and tricks on how to use the Community website and also relevant product information. But this is also a place for you to let us know what you want from the Community website. You should also know that we are not the only Intuit Blog in town. You can find others here. We will continue to add blogs to this page over time. If there are some Small Business blogs that you think can help others, let us know and we will add them to the site. Thanks

How about a warm welcome for Q & A?

Today I'm going to introduce a new couple of features to the Community Forums.

The first thing I'm going to cover are the new icons on the community designating what questions have answers and which questions have not been answered yet.

By having the icons you can easily tell which question have answers, so you don't have to open every discussion when looking for a particular solution. This also helps answer people focus on unanswered questions.

To further help sort through all the discussions on the site you can either filter out the answered or unanswered questions to apply your focus while using the community.

The following picture shows where to click if you want to look at just answered or unanswered discussions -

Finally, you can find all the questions and answers you have submitted on the community site by clicking on the My Q&A in the upper right hand area. (You need to be logged in to see this feature)

The following picture shows you where to click if you want to just see your own Questions and Answers, which can also be handy if you are looking for some of your previous content -
